In July 2021, Ethan and I joined the same Zoom witnessing group- and that’s it. No, really…

Family and Zoom witnessing are truly what brought me and Ethan together! Ethan was in Canberra, Australia while I was nearly 10,000 miles away in Atlanta, Georgia. Even then, it didn’t feel far. After joining witnessing each week and getting to know him and my other friends on Zoom for over a year, my cousins and I booked a trip off to Australia! Over the few weeks we were there, I got the chance to finally know Ethan in person. We started dating in October of 2022.

After 11 months of dating, nearly 1,000 hours of video calls, a 17h time difference, and a few flights in between, Ethan came to Georgia (finally!) where over the last few weeks he’s gotten to see where I’ve grown up, meet so many of my beautiful friends and family.

On October 2, 2023, I'm moving to Melbourne, Australia! I am excited to spend some time getting settled overseas, within the congregation, and in our apartment, until we get married in Australia later in the year.

A special note to you, I truly am going to miss everyone who has been a part of my life growing up here in Georgia! Thank you, everyone, for all that you’ve done and continue to do, whether i get to see you every week or only every year or so, you mean very much to me! I’m so excited to see as many of you as possible in September, and can’t wait to introduce you to Ethan if you haven’t had the chance to meet him yet (he’s alright I guess).
